Chris had the opportunity to conduct the University of Georgia Concert Band in Spring 2016. For the February concert, he conducted Markowski's Shadow Rituals.

In March 2017, Chris performed a guest recital at Kansas State University. One of the pieces performed was Mark Schultz's 'Raptors, performed as a duet with Chris' former teacher, Jacqueline Fassler-Kerstetter.

As a part of his master's recital (and the guest recital), Chris performed Messiaen's Interstellar Call with a slide show of interstellar images to guide the audience's listening of the piece.

In February 2017, Chris was invited to perform the 3rd movement of David Gillingham's Concerto for Horn and Symphonic Band with the University of Georgia Symphonic Band.
